Narrative Writing

On a sunny day I was in my room on my Chromebook watching youtube then all of the sudden
I begin feeling a little shaking. At first the saking wasn't bad then it stopped. While the
earthquake was happening I was feeling a little worried just in case something broke.

When the earthquake was over my mum asked, “are you two okay?” She sounded worried when
she asked if we were okay and then we both replied with, “yes,” then my mum said that she's
okay as well. Then we found out that the power had cut out we didn't worry about that because it
was day time and we didn't need lights.

Then we went through the whole house just checking incase something had broke or fell down.
While looking around we seen that one painting had fell down.

Buddhist Temple

Going to the Buddha Temple

On May the 22nd the year 8 classes went to a Buddha temple to practice 3G4G. When we got there we got spoken to by a man that was volunteering at the temple. The first activity my group did was to make a lotus flower from paper, the lotus flower grows from a seed in the mud the flower can grow in the chinese gardens or lakes. It can Grow through the dirtiest water as well. After we did that we had to bathe the Buddha in water when we did that we had to half bow to the Buddha and pour water over him. When we did his right shoulder we had to say different things from the 3G4G then we had some food and water

Sleep Sluths

For our writing we were working on sleep sleuths. This is my story of why you need to sleep to get

WOW! I slept in I guess that's good? Sleeping more helps your energy so you learn more and can go longer than if you don't get enough sleep. If your a deep sleeper you will sleep longer than if you're a light sleeper.

If you don't get enough sleep you will be tired and won't go for long without feeling dizzy and tired. Then you can fall asleep and not get any work done. Like if you're in an assessment and you fall asleep and don't do it.

If you like to sleep you might have trouble going to work early. Because you like to sleep you won't remember to get up. One way to prevent that is to get an alarm clock then your brain will get used to waking up then.

Kids that go to school should be getting around to 11 hours to 12 hours of sleep. Then they can get more work done whereas if they get 8 to 9 hours of sleep They won't get as much work done compared to if you get more sleep.

This means that you should get as much snooze time as possible so you can work for longer and learn more. It would help to have a shower to get refreshed.

Day in the life of a shoe

DAY IN THE LIFE OF A SHOE 

 

Today I got woken by my owner because it was  and he goes for a run with because I am a sport shoe. He was shaking the heck out of me as he was putting me on. Then he got really angry at me because I am too big and I keep on falling of. He tied me up re ally really tight so I don't fall of any more. Now we are walking to school there is a massive puddle of water with bugs and leaves in it. The puddle was covering the whole foot path we had to go through it the water went every where and all over me. Now I smell like old smelly water it was freezing cold. I wanted a warm towel around me we still had really far to go. One hour to go until we are home.  1 HOUR LATER. Finally I am home but still I'M STILL VERY VERY TIRED

This is the book trailer that I made. I used Powtoon with Eltaf.

My favorite part about making the powtoon was finding the music.

The thing i learnt was how to make a powtoon and how to get music on the powtoon.
